NEW CASTLE
•Burglary. Police were told someone damaged the doorjamb of a house in the 1400 block of Gibson Street between 5 p.m. Friday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday. Police were told entry was not made.
•Burglary. A laptop computer, DVD player and printer were reported taken from a house in the 2300 block of Eastbrook Road between 7:30 and 11 p.m. Friday.
STATE
•Theft of motor vehicle. A brown, 2007 Ford F-150 Extended Cab 4X4 was reported taken from the 500 block of Knox Avenue at 5:45 a.m. Monday. Police were told the truck had been unlocked, and the ignition key was in the center console.
•Theft of motor vehicle. A silver 1997 Hyundai Elantra was reported taken from Cliff Street at 4:45 a.m. Monday. Police were told the keys had been left in the unlocked car, which was parked in the victim’s driveway.
