NEW CASTLE — I love when film critics, entertainment companies, movie sites — whomever — produce lists of their favorite all-time movies.

I use MSN Entertainment to look up movie times online. The other day I was checking the site to see which theater in Boardman was going to show "Oz The Great and Powerful." Would it be Tinseltown or would it be Cinema South? Tinseltown it is.

In the process, I noticed MSN is counting down its 100 favorite films. Awesome.

I've checked out 100-81. Here are the films I consider to be strong picks.

1. “Young Frankenstein” (1974)

Right off the bat at 100, I was excited to see a Gene Wilder film. He is hilarious. My favorite Gene Wilder film? Hmm, it's a tie between "Haunted Honeymoon" and "Blazing Saddles."

2. “Fight Club” (1999)

There's really no other movie like "Fight Club." I wasn't sure what to make of it the first time I saw it, but over the years it has become a classic (in the cult classic sense).

3. “Star Trek” (2009)

What? "Star Trek?" I didn't even want to see this film but my husband wanted to, and let's face it, I'm up for the drive-in any night no matter the movie. I was pleasantly surprised. It wasn't cheesy at all like I expected it to be.

4. “Monty Python and the Holy Grail” (1975)

"Monty Python and the Holy Grail" is a comedy you either get or you don't. The movie is frequently quoted and has plenty of diehard fans.

5. “West Side Story” (1961)

I love musicals. I love Natalie Wood ("Gypsy" is one of my favorite films.). I love the word "rumble."

'Nuff said.
