North Hill watch group to meet

NEW CASTLE — There will be a meeting of the North Hill Neighborhood Watch Thursday.

The session will begin at 6:30 p.m. at George Washington School on Euclid Avenue.

New Castle Fire Chief Thomas Maciarello will be the guest speaker.

  • Route 551 bridge reopens to traffic

    The new bridge that carries Route 551 over a branch of Little Beaver Creek in Little Beaver Township is open. The bridge and road have been closed since Jan. 7.
