NEW CASTLE —
What’s black and white and pink all over?
Tuesday’s edition of the New Castle News.
In observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, The News will publish a special edition of the newspaper — featuring pink pages throughout — and help fund cancer research in the process. In addition, inside Tuesday’s paper will be our annual breast cancer awareness tabloid, which will also be covered in pink.
For every single copy of the collector’s edition we sell that day, The News will donate half of the proceeds to the local chapter of the American Cancer Society.
Buy a paper. Help save a life.
Now that’s some positive news!
But that’s not all. If you stop in at The News business office to purchase your newspaper on Tuesday, you’ll get to meet some of our popular staffers and receive a free gift from circulation director DuWayne Nelson.
•10 to 11 a.m. — Meet fashion blogger Sarah Stright
•11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. — Meet columnist and blogger Gary Church
•1:30 to 2:30 p.m. — Meet reporter David Burcham
•2:30 to 3 p.m. — Meet publisher Larry Corvi
So c’mon down for a great cause!
Think pink. And read all about it.
