NEW CASTLE —
The Lawrence County Planning Commission will meet at noon Tuesday in the Ellwood City Municipal Building.
Amy McKinney, the county’s planning director, said this is a new location for the panel.
“We were invited by Ellwood City Borough Manager Dom Vicarri to see the downtown revitalization happening now in the borough,” she said.
Vicarri is also a member of the planning commission.
Agenda items include four land development proposals:
•Bottom Dollar Food Store for Call’s Plaza in Neshannock Township
•Dollar General Store in North Beaver Township
•Two land development plans for Hickory Run Energy for a natural gas-fired electrical generating plant in North Beaver Township. One development plan is for the substation, the other is for the plant site.
