Send us your theater memories

NEW CASTLE — What do you remember about New Castle’s former movie theaters?

Whether you worked at one these old theaters or just have some fond memories of seeing films there, you’re invited to share your recollections — and old photos, if you have them — with our readers. The News will publish all responses in its July 4 edition.

And if you saw your movies at places like the Globe in New Wilmington or the Majestic in Ellwood City or any of the area drive-ins, we’d love to hear from you as well!

We prefer you email your comments, with your name and place of residence, to ncliving@ncnewsonline.com. However, if you’d rather, you may mail them to Movie Memories, in care of New Castle News, P.O. Box 60, New Castle Pa. 16101.

The deadline to submit responses is June 28.

It’s been a unique week on the marriage front. Actress Jodie Foster married her longtime girlfriend, while a lesbian trio that wed last year, who bill themselves as a “throuple,” have announced they are expecting. What’s your take on alternative unions?

I’m against it. I believe in one man, one woman.
I’m OK with it. As long as they’re adults, they can marry whoever they want.
A lesbian “throuple?” Really? SMH.
