Business Owners: We want your old prom photos!

NEW CASTLE — Hey, local business owners!

Were you the at your high prom?

Did you wear your sunglasses at night? How about bell-bottoms, afros and velvet tuxes?

Did you boogie oogie oogie until you just couldn’t boogie no more?

We want to hear from you!

In observance of the spring prom season, the New Castle News is conducting a special photo contest on our web site and we want your entries. It promises to be interactive. It promises to be fun. And it promises to be a great way to promote your business to the thousands of readers who will see your old pictures.

The more embarrassing, the better.

Curious? Want more details?

Just call your advertising representative for more information on how you can take part. Or, if you prefer, contact our ad director Rick Work at (724) 654-6651, extension 657.

Sarah Palin is calling for the impeachment of President Obama for his handling of the border crisis, comparing America to a “battered wife.” Do you agree?

Yes. It seems Obama is intentionally allowing illegal immigrants to enter our country, which hampers job opportunities for U.S. citizens. Our new slogan should be, ’Bye, American!
No. Sarah Palin? Really? C’mon! The president is doing the best he can with a difficult situation. Let him finish out his term.
Not sure. I’m not a big fan of the president, but I don’t think Palin’s “battered wife” comment was appropriate.
