Festivities begin at 7 p.m. at The Crane Room.
The price is $30 per person in advance or $35 at the door. There will be a cash bar.

New Castle High School’s class of 1988 will mark its 25th anniversary with a reunion Nov. 30.
The gathering is set for 6 to 10 p.m. Nov. 30 at Gallo’s Italian Villa. The cost is $30 per person.

Bit of a stretch: Student to conduct workshop on rubber band bracelets
Olivia McKenna, 11, started getting interested in rubber band bracelets last summer. “My friends all had them and they looked like they were really fun to make,” the Mohawk sixth-grader and Bessemer resident remembers.
Red Cross to host blood drives
The American Red Cross has scheduled blood drives in Ellwood City and New Wilmington this month. One drive will be from noon to 6 p.m. Dec. 17 at Calvin Presbyterian Church, 615 Crescent Ave. in Ellwood City.
New Castle Music Club Chorus to once again present Handel’s ‘Messiah’
The New Castle Music Club Chorus will present Georg Fredric Handel’s inspiring sacred oratorio “Messiah” at 3 p.m. Sunday. The performance will take place at Northminster Presbyterian Church, 2434 Wilmington Road, hosted by pastors Andrew Jillson and Anthony Kladitis, as well as the Northminster congregation.
Extension offers Bluegrass pipeline session
Penn State Extension’s Marcellus Education Team will sponsor a workshop to provide details about the Bluegrass Pipeline. The program will run from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Dec. 10 at the Ben Franklin Learning Center, 815 Cunningham Ave.
Veterans benefit assistance offered
A representative of the American Legion will be in New Castle Thursday. The department service officer will be at the office of state Rep. Chris Sainato, 20 S. Mercer St.
Organic beef program scheduled
A presentation on organic beef will be made to the League of Women Voters of Lawrence County on Tuesday.

New Castle area resident David Croach underwent his second bond marrow transplant Oct. 29. A Donation Day to help Croach has been set for Saturday at First National Bank on Wilmington Road. Hours are 9 to 11 a.m.
Veterans jobs specialist to visit Ellwood City
A veterans employment specialist will visit Ellwood City later this month. Ryan Paglia of the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry will be at the office of state Rep. Jaret Gibbons, 309 Fifth St., Nov. 19.
