NEW CASTLE —
A benefit for Ozzy Velez, 9, will take place Friday at the Cascade of Lights at Cascade Park.
New Castle Mayor Anthony Mastrangelo announced all donations between 6 and 9 p.m. Friday at the Cascade of Lights from will go to Velez’s family to defray medical costs.
Velez was injured in a Nov. 25 accident in which his friend, Octavius Stone, 7, was killed.
