Roberts not guilty in Palumbo killing

New Castle News

A New Castle man has been acquitted of homicide and all other charges in Lawrence County Court.

Michael Roberts was facing the death penalty in the 2005 death of Daniel Palumbo. But a jury spent less than an hour deliberating before reaching its “not guilty” verdict.

Reporter Nancy Lowry will have a full report in Thursday’s edition of the New Castle News.
