NEW CASTLE —
Motorists may experience delays starting Tuesday at the Mahoning Avenue viaduct.
According to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, an inspection of the viaduct is scheduled.
Single-lane closures in each direction will occur as needed from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays between North Liberty and Moravia Streets. Work will conclude March 6.
Crews from SAI Consulting Engineers will conduct the work.
Motorists are advised to use caution, allow extra time and expect changing traffic patterns when traveling through the area.
