A regular participant of our Ornish alumni group shared how he is benefiting since he learned to listen to his internal reactions — we could call them his “emotions” — as result of daily breathing and stretching.
I know- you might not be in the frame of mind to think about fall. But with the cooler temperatures this week it has me longing for my favorite season. I've talked more than once about how layering is my favorite way to dress, so naturally fall is perfect for me.
Well, I must have jinxed myself. Last week I blogged about doing a show as an almost 30 year old that I did as a 20 year old. I received lots of nice comments (mostly lies) reassuring me that I am doing a good job in the show…better even than I did 9 years ago.
This may be the first time in U.S. history that an administration has welcomed talk of impeachment.
Don’t get me wrong. I love that we’re living in the era of smart phones and instant communication. In the kitchen, microwaves, convection ovens and other kitchen tools practically do all the work for us.
Which came first the chicken or the egg? References to deadlock situations where the answer creates the problem can be applied to yoga class for men as well.
I have an issue with diaper bags. Mainly- I hate them. Most of the ones that are out there for women are covered in flowers in brightly colored patterns. I am not a fan.
In addition to my regular mother/housewife duties, for the last 7 weeks I have also been rehearsing for the New Castle Playhouse’s summer musical, State Fair. Having done the same role in this show NINE years ago, I have found the rehearsal process quite challenging this time around.
There’s a lesson to be learned regarding the current criminal investigation in Shenango Township. And it’s a lesson for the public — in every community. The lesson is this: Don’t expect your government to run on autopilot.
