NEW CASTLE —
Robin was so focused on being a mother, she felt she was losing what it meant to be a daughter to our Heavenly Father.
Quickly recognizing this, she began to pray and give herself to the Lord, willing to obey His plan for her life. Not much time went by after that when she received news that her son, Heath, stationed in Japan with the Navy, had become ill. His appendix had burst awhile before that and his life was in danger.
Robin, of Shenango Township, and her husband Scott sought prayers from family, friends and their church, New Life Baptist.
Watch Robin’s story unfold as says every need was met in an incredible way and how getting to her son, and being able to pray with and comfort him, was the most rewarding thing God could have done for them.

The Blitz was on this weekend in New Castle. Habitat for Humanity had a “Blitz Build” for its latest Lawrence County house at the corner of Newell and Madison avenues in Mahoningtown. Over Thursday, Friday and Saturday, concrete block was laid for the basement, the ground floor was constructed, the roof was built and walls went up.
