NEW CASTLE

•Burglary. An AK-46, valued at $500, a Grillie rifle, valued at $500, a 42-inch flat-screen television, valued at $150 and an Xbox 360, valued at $100 taken from a house in the 800 block of North Mercer Street between July 19 and 6 p.m. Thursday.

•Hit-and-run. Police said the bumper of a car parked in the 300 block of Halco Drive was damaged between 2 a.m. and 3 p.m. July 20.

•Theft. A 2000 Chevrolet Blazer was taken from the 700 block of Oak Street about 6 p.m. Friday. Police said the vehicle, minus the stereo, was recovered later that day on Beech Street.

•Theft. A Samsung Galaxy 2 tablet was taken from a house in the 600 block of Fairview Avenue between 3 and 4 p.m. on July 23. Police said the item was recovered by the owner at a pawn shop.

•Charged. Lorenzo Jackson Jr., 26, of 318 Halco Drive, was charged with criminal trespass/defiant trespass on Halco Drive at 4 p.m. July 23. Police said Jackson is on the no trespass list of the Lawrence County Housing Authority.

•Charged. Police said Joseph C. Williams, 30, of Pulaski, was charged with simple assault, terroristic threats and harassment following a domestic disturbance on Division Street which moved to Lutton Street. Police were told Williams assaulted and threatened to kill a woman and her 10-year-old daughter.

•Charged. Police said Rayjzon Sams, 20, of 502 Bell Ave., was charged with defiant trespass after he was observed driving on Wick Avenue and Cuba Street about 10 p.m. Saturday. Police said he is on the no trespass list of the Lawrence County Housing Authority.

•Charged. Police said Octavius Eugene Clark, 24, of 920 S. Jefferson St., was charged with criminal trespass after he allegedly was kicked another out of an apartment in the 800 block of West Washington Street about 2 a.m. Sunday. Police said Clark is on the no trespass list of the Lawrence County Housing Authority.

•Charged. Police said Bryant R. Binns, 20, of 1321 Pennsylvania Ave., was charged with criminal trespass after he was found at Pin Oak Drive on Friday and Monday after being placed on the Crestview Gardens no trespass list.

•Property found. Two bicycles were found near the side door of a vacant house in the 100 block of East Laurel Boulevard at 1:30 a.m. yesterday.

•Burglary. Two 32-inch flat-screen televisions, each valued at $350, and a laptop computer, valued at $600, were taken from a house in the 400 block of Norwood Avenue between 10 a.m. and 8:15 p.m. Monday.

•Theft. A mountain bike, valued at $200, was taken from Cascade Galleria on South Jefferson Street before 3:20 p.m. Thursday.

•Charged. Police said Kenneth Lee Foster, 31, of 611 Grandiew Ave., was charged with criminal trespass on Grant Street about 5 p.m. Monday. Police said he is on the Lawrence County Housing Authority no trespass list.

•Laura Norris, 52, of New Castle, charged by New Castle police with dogs at large.

Shenango Township police charged the following people:

•Rodney Roger Davignon, 45, of Kittanning, disorderly conduct.

•Mary Laurene McMahan, 43, of New Castle, pet confinement and control violation.

•Nicole E. Welsh, 35, of New Castle, retail theft.

State police charged the following people:

•Brandon Kris Merlino, 26, of Portersville, two counts of driving under the influence and one count of exceeding the speed limit.

•Stefany Ann Iorio, 21, of New Castle, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.

•Allen Horbach, 55, of Wampum, charged by municipal code enforcement with grass, weeds and other vegetation violation.

Ellwood City police charged the following people:

•Wesley S. Lavalley, 55, of Ellwood City, indecent assault and harassment.

•Thomas Anthony Perrotta, 27, of New Castle, theft by deception and bad checks.

•Tyrone Donald Zeigler, 35, of New Brighton, four counts of theft by deception and two counts each of forgery and receiving stolen property.
