•Burglary. Someone broke into an apartment in the 1200 block of Highland Avenue between Friday and Monday and stole a television, a DVD/VHS player, cash from a cookie jar and 20 DVDs.
•Theft. A SpongeBob SquarePants children’s trampoline was stolen from an apartment in the 800 block of Neshannock Village between 11 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
•Burglary. Jewelry and other items were taken from a Wildlife Drive home in Slippery Rock Township between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Tuesday.
•Theft. Medication was taken from a New Beaver Borough home between 2 p.m. July 7 and noon July 17.
•Charged. State police were assisted by Slippery Rock Volunteer Fire Department to rescue an Ellwood City man who had fallen and was injured at Kennedy Mills, Frew Mill Road, in Slippery Rock Township about 9 p.m. Sunday. Police cited the man for public drunkenness.

•Catherine Dawn Dittmer, 40, of Ellwood City, charged by Ellwood City police with scattering rubbish on land or stream, public drunkenness and similar misconduct, and defiant trespass.
•Seth Robert Zarecky, 19, of Greenville, charged by Union Township police with disorderly conduct.

•Craig Vincent Underwood, 28, of New Castle and London, England — Five to 10 months in the Lawrence County jail with credit for 246 days served followed by four years probation with the conditions that he have no contact with the victim and that he does not contest his deportation to his country of origin, costs of prosecution. He pleaded guilty to simple assault.
•Michele Christine Topolosky, 29, New Castle — Forty-five days to one year in the Lawrence County jail with credit for 45 days served, costs of prosecution, $4,000 restitution to the victims. She pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property.
•Robert Anthony Rotz II, 32, New Castle — Six months in the intermediate punishment program with the first seven days on house arrest with electronic monitoring and remaining time on probation, $750 fine, costs of prosecution, 12-month license suspension. He pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of a controlled substance.
•Alexander William Jones, 27, Hubbard, Ohio — One year probation, $729 restitution to the victim and $1,242 restitution to Mutual Benefit Group insurance, costs of prosecution. He pleaded guilty to criminal conspiracy to receive stolen property.
•Alexander William Jones, 27, Hubbard, Ohio — One year probation to run concurrently with any other sentence being served, he cannot enter premises of New Castle Gold, $200 restitution to New Castle Gold, costs of prosecution. He pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property.
•Alexander William Jones, 27, Hubbard, Ohio — Five years probation, costs of prosecution, $5,000 restitution to New Castle Development. He pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property.
•Develyn Doreen Greene, 44, Youngstown — Costs of prosecution and $100 fine. She pleaded guilty to making false reports to law enforcement.
