SHENANGO TOWNSHIP


•Accident. Police said Steven A. Crisci, 56, of 207 Blanchard St. was traveling east on Route 422 at 8 a.m. Saturday when he attempted a right turn into the Eldorado Motel. His car was struck on the passenger side by another eastbound auto, operated by Javier Delgado, 32, of Port Richey, Fla. No injuries were reported. Police said Delgado was cited for driving with an expired vehicle registration.

•Hit and run. Police said someone scraped the side of a vehicle parked at Giant Eagle on New Butler Road around 12:30 p.m. Friday. Damage was estimated at $1,000. Police are asking any witnesses to contact them at (724) 654-2243.

STATE

•Accident. Police said Carl C. Ritter, 21, of Ellwood City, was driving too fast for conditions on Camp Allegheny Road, Wayne Township, at 4 p.m. Monday. Officers said Ritter’s pickup truck left the road, struck an embankment and rolled onto its roof. Police said he sustained a minor injury and was taken to Ellwood City Hospital. He was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.

•Accident. Police said an unnamed 16-year-old female from Volant was traveling east from Potter Run Road to Black Road in Washington Township about 9 a.m. Saturday. Officers said she pulled into the path of Judith A. Steele, 71, of Volant, northbound on Route 19. Police said Steele sustained a minor injury and was taken to Jameson Hospital. Officers said the teen was not injured, but they cited her for stop sign violations.

•Gary Clark of New Castle, charged by dog law enforcement with two counts of pet confined within the premises of the owner violation and one count each of failure to apply for dog license and vaccination against rabies required violation.

Union Township police charged the following people:

•James R. Scott Jr., 37, of New Castle, forgery, theft by deception, receiving stolen property and bad checks.

•Silver Moon Seminara, 29, of New Castle, two counts each of driving under the influence and endangering the welfare of children and one count each of careless driving and disregarding traffic lane.

•Paul S. Hill, 47, of Sharon, retail theft.

•Dawn M. Wallace, 32, of New Castle, theft by deception and retail theft.

•Alexandria Nicole Rouzzo, 22, of New Castle, making a false report and retail theft.

•Floyd M. Hunter, 29, of New Castle, criminal attempt and conspiracy.
