•Burglary. Someone broke into a house in the 700 block of Brooklyn Avenue between May 30 and June 2 and stole a Sawzall, an air compressor with hose, a cordless drill, an electric drill, a framing gun and an air gun.

•Theft. A .40-caliber Taurus handgun was reported stolen from an apartment at McGrath Manor on West Washington Street on June 4.

•Theft. A wallet was reported stolen from a car parked in the 300 block of Cuba Street between 5:30 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. Wednesday.

•Criminal mischief. Someone threw a rock through a window of an apartment on Parkwood Court in Crestview Gardens around 9:15 p.m. Tuesday.

•Theft. About 20 roofing underlay rolls and shingles were reported stolen from the parking lot of Cascade Park between 10 p.m. Monday and 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.

•Theft. A stereo system was reported stolen from a car parked in the rear of the 800 block of Butler Avenue between 12:30 and 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.

•William Joseph Kroll, 23, New Castle — $150 fine to be paid within four months; prosecution costs. He pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia.

•Jessica Marie Bowyer, 28, New Castle — Six months probation; costs of prosecution; Lawrence County Drug and Alcohol assessment. She pleaded guilty to retail theft.

•Mandy Jo Strickler, 31, Harmony, Pa. — $200 fine. She pleaded guilty to driving while operating privileges are suspended or revoked.

•Mandy Jo Strickler, 31, of Harmony —Six months intermediate punishment program, the first seven days on house arrest with electronic monitoring; $1,000 fine; costs of prosecution; $113 restitution to Pennsylvania state police for lab fees; $52 restitution to the Lawrence County District attorney’s office for lab fees; Lawrence County Drug and Alcohol assessment; 12-month license suspension. Commencement of her house arrest may be deferred for up to 30 days and work release is granted. She pleaded guilty to driving while under the influence of alcohol.

•Mandy Jo Strickler, 31, Harmony, Pa. — Costs of prosecution; $150 fine; contraband in possession of commonwealth is forfeited and shall be destroyed. She pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia.

•Bernard Lee Wilt, 31, New Castle —Two years probation; $1,624 restitution to Creative Color; not to enter premises of Creative Color and can have no contact with the victims; costs of prosecution; drug and alcohol assessment. He pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property.

•Ryan W. Moore, 36, New Castle —Twenty eight days to 12 months in the Lawrence County jail with credit for 28 days served, one day in the jail and 27 days in in-patient rehabilitation; costs of prosecution; drug and alcohol assessment. He pleaded guilty to theft.

•Jermaine Legene Flamer, 37, New Castle —Eighteen months to three years incarceration in a state correctional facility followed by two years probation. He is eligible for early release in 13 1/2 months. He also must pay $226 in fees to the state police crime lab; $2,251 in possession of the commonwealth is forfeited to the Lawrence County District Attorney’s Drug Task Force; must provide a DNA sample. He pleaded guilty to delivery of a controlled substance.

•Donte Calhoun, 24, New Castle — Six to 23 months in the Lawrence County jail to commence June 10, followed by two years probation; $176 in lab fees; drug and alcohol assessment; $391 in possession of the commonwealth is forfeited to the Lawrence County District attorney’s Drug Task Force; a firearm and ammunition and other contraband in possession of the commonwealth is forfeited and will be destroyed; DNA sample; work release is approved. He pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

•Kevin R. Eggerton, 53, New Castle — $200 fine. He pleaded guilty to driving while operating privileges are suspended or revoked.

•Kevin R. Eggerton, 53, New Castle —72 hours to six months in the Lawrence County jail; when paroled, he is to be assessed by Lawrence County Drug and Alcohol; $1,000 fine; costs of prosecution; $331 in lab fees; 12 months license suspension. He pleaded guilty to driving while under the influence of alcohol.

•Frank Robert Lagana, 58, Ellwood City — Six months intermediate punishment program, the first 30 days on house arrest with electronic monitoring; $750 fine; costs of prosecution; drug and alcohol assessment; 12 month license suspension. He pleaded guilty to driving while under the influence of alcohol.

•Richard John Duffy, 48, New Castle — Six months intermediate punishment program, the first 90 days to be served on house arrest with electronic monitoring; drug and alcohol assessment; 18 month license suspension. He pleaded guilty to driving while under the influence of alcohol.

•John D. Yough, 45, New Castle — Six months probation; costs of prosecution; $199.99 restitution to the Shenango Township police department. He pleaded guilty to simple assault.

•Richard D. Scalise, 40, Pittsburgh —Twelve months intermediate punishment program, the first four on house arrest with electronic monitoring, work release granted; costs of prosecution. The case may be transferred to Allegheny County. He pleaded guilty to retail theft.

•Marianne Wood, of New Castle, charged by New Castle's code enforcement department with failure to cut weeds or grass.

New Castle police charged the following:

•Natasha Yvonne Smith, 36, of Farrell, defiant trespass, disorderly conduct and criminal mischief.

•Gena L. Lordi, 49, of New Castle, disorderly house.

•Patrick Harold Gallagher, 35, of New Castle, forgery, theft and receiving stolen property.

•Dathan J. Brewer, 37, of Ellwood City, charged by Ellwood City police with simple assault, harassment and aggravated assault.

•Kevonna Germaine Flamer, 20, of New Castle, charged by New Castle police with disorderly conduct.

State police charged the following people:

•Rese Thomas McGaughey, 20, of New Alexandria, Pa., manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver, use/possession of drug paraphernalia, no rear lights, failure to use safety belt and conspiracy.

•Ryan Kirsh Keener, 20, of Saltsburg, Pa., manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver, use/possession of drug paraphernalia, no rear lights, failure to use safety belt and conspiracy.

Mahoning Township police charged the following:

•Nina Christina Heaney, 30,of Pulaski, simple assault and harassment.

•Keith E. Peterson, 48, of Lowellville, Ohio, three counts of driving under the influence and one count of use/possession of drug paraphernalia.
