NEW CASTLE


•Theft. A CD player, valued at $800, was taken from a Chevy Blazer in a business parking lot in the 1500 block of Moravia Street between 10:45 p.m. Thursday and 12:40 a.m. Friday.

•Charges. Police charged Joseph A. Habib, 55, of 211 Miller Ave., with simple assault and harassment after he allegedly struck a woman, knocking her to the floor, before 9:45 p.m. Thursday.

•Criminal mischief. The passenger side window of a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee, parked in the 400 block of East Washington Street between 7 a.m. Tuesday and 1:15 p.m. Wednesday, was broken.

•Theft. A child-sized red and black bicycle, valued at $100, was taken from the 500 block of Sumner Ave. between 5 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. Tuesday.

•Robert Anthony Pallerino, 52, of New Castle, public drunkenness and similar misconduct.

•Monte R. Fry, 35, of New Castle, disorderly conduct, open lewdness and public drunkenness and similar misconduct.

•Eric John Whisel, 19, of New Castle, two counts of robbery and one count each of firearms not to be carried without a license, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and recklessly endangering another person.

•Nicole M. Wallace, 39, of New Castle, access device used to obtain or attempt to obtain property or service, theft by deception and receiving stolen property.

New Castle’s code enforcement department charged the following:

•Erica Lynn Cox, 40, of New Castle, accumulation of rubbish or garbage.

•Thomas Beamont, of Bluffton, S.C., failure to cut weeds or grass.

•Organic Property Management of New Castle, failure to cut weeds or grass.

•Two Penna of New Castle, sanitation of exterior property areas violation.

•Harry Cornelius, 43, of New Castle, failure to cut weeds or grass and sanitation of exterior property areas violation.

•Visio Capital of New Castle, failure to cut weeds or grass and sanitation of exterior property areas violation.

•Kathy Bunnell of New Castle, sanitation of exterior property areas violation, failure to cut weeds or grass and exterior walls violation.

•David Black, 30, of New Castle, burglary, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.

•Amy Marie Crespo, 27, of New Castle, retail theft.

•Kail Xavier Habib, 28, of Edinburg, defiant trespass.
