NEW CASTLE —
Two children suffered apparent serious injuries when they were hit by a truck Sunday afternoon in New Castle.
In a developing story, police, firefighters and ambulance responded to a call at 2:15 p.m. at the corner of Winslow and Stanton avenues on the city’s East Side.
Initial scanner reports indicated the two youngsters, ages 7 and 9, were hit by a truck, when then crashed into a nearby yard.
Two helicopters were summoned to transport the injured children.
