Pat Librandi receives an embrace yesterday from Don DeCarbo, Jameson Health System board member emeritus, following a ceremony that dedicated room 205 to the memory of her daughter, Debra. Debra Librandi was a local advocate for the disabled, and the room was renovated to meet Americans with Disabilities Act standards thanks primarily to the insight she provided to the hospital.

I’m negative. Nepotism, corruption, and incompetence have ruled for years. Nothing has changed.
I’m hopeful. I view the county as a whole, so there’s a lot to be positive about.
Mixed. I think we’re like any other area. You have to take the bad with the good.
